Cosmetic dentists with 25 years experience

In dentistry porcelain shells are called veneers that are adhesively applied to the surface of a tooth, either to aesthetically improve teeth or to repair chips and cracks. Veneers can significantly improve the shape and colour of teeth; they can also close gaps between the teeth. Crowded or crooked teeth can be nicely evened out as well. They may also be recommended if you have not achieved the desired result with teeth whitening. Veneers are used increasingly frequently in cosmetic dentistry. Success rates of porcelain (pressed ceramic) veneers can be as high as 97,5% according to a recent survey*.

The veneers that we use in our clinic are made of press ceramic material (IPS Empress) as this provides the appropriate strength and aesthetic characteristics required for the front and premolar teeth.

Because veneers are individually fabricated they possess an excellent fit and all the characteristics of a natural tooth. Besides the outstanding strength and aesthetic performance, Empress ceramic veneers also fit beautifully and are able to integrate into the natural environment perfectly; therefore they really are long-lasting restorations.
